house by building a unique sun / family room addition, accomplishing this with
minimal disturbance to the established site; extensive renovation and upgrades
to the entire house, inside and out; creation of multiple outdoor living areas
with surrounding gardens and outdoor lighting to take advantage of the site
both during the day and the night; construction of more sheltered and unsheltered
vehicular parking; additions and improvements to pedestrian walkways; construction
of a vehicular turnaround to eliminate the need to back into a steep street;
and lush garden plantings in a dry-shade environment that provide year-round
appeal and privacy. The project was selected on the basis of design excellence
and on the quality of work performed, including coordination of work, quality
of materials, and overall appearance. Wayside Landscape Services served as
both the Licensed General Contractor and Registered Landscape Contractor for
the project. The project was designed by Andy White.
